Belzona® 4521 (Magma-Flex Fluid) is an elastomeric joint sealant designed for the effective sealing of construction and expansion joints. This low modulus material readily extends and compresses in sympathy with normal thermal movement of buildings and structures, ensuring minimal bond-line stress for maximum service life.
Many mastics and sealants in the market-place are one component materials chosen primarily for ease of use. Their through-cure can be slow and ultimate properties dependent on the depth of mastic installed. Two component systems give rapid and consistent through-cure, but traditional Polysulphides, the most common of these are basically gap fillers, with poor long term flexibility and weathering properties.
Belzona® 4521 is a novel hybrid polymer elastomer system which has been specifically designed as a cost effective, superior alternative to conventional mastics and sealants for use on a wide variety of horizontal joints.
Belzona® 4521 offers excellent adhesion to most substrates including concrete, stone, steel and the wide range of repair systems in the Belzona 4000 Series Magma polymer range.
