Belzona 5711 is a high-performance, easy to apply system specially designed for the repair of erosion and impact damage on the leading edges of wind turbine blades.  

Belzona 5711 is supplied in a cartridge format, making it easy to apply, ideally suited for applicators using rope access. 

This product has a good working life allowing it to be perfectly contoured to the leading edge, removing the need for sanding eliminating a step in the repair process. 

Belzona 5711 cures quickly and can be directly overcoated with Belzona 5721 in 30 minutes at 20°C/68°F, without the need for any additional preparation. 

Belzona 5711 and Belzona 5721 provide a long-lasting repair and protection solution for your blades, minimising downtime, and maximising your turbines output. 

Key Benefits: 

  • Rapid curing system which can be overcoated in 30 minutes, and is fully cured within 60 minutes at 20 °C/ 68 °F. 

  • Cartridge packaging eases in-situ repair and is compatible with standard single component sealant/ caulking guns. 

  • Can be perfectly contoured, and removes the need for sanding, therefore simplifying the application process. 

  • Single product, suitable for use between 5-40 °C/ 41-104 °F, and up to 85% RH. 

  • Low hazard and solvent free. Cartridge format avoids the need to handle and mix individual components. 

  • Specifically designed for leading edge protection, a combination of Belzona 5711 and Belzona 5721 can repair damage, and offer long lasting protection against rain erosion and impact damage.
