Regulatory Assistant

Vacancy Regulatory Assistant Belzona Polymerics Limited is the global leader in the manufacture and supply of polymer repair composites and industrial protective coatings for the repair and protection of machinery, equipment, buildings and structures. With a global distribution network of over 140 Distributors operating in 120 countries, we have set ambitious targets and continue to grow our business year on year, aiming to deliver exceptional service levels to our client network. We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Assistant to join our team in supporting the Regulatory Affairs and QSHE functions to ensure compliance. Aspects of the role include: • Reviewing suppliers SDSs and updating our internal systems accordingly • Reviewing, amending and uploading Finished product SDS on our internal systems • Maintaining and updating the label artwork for our products • Assisting with assessments ensuring compliance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations • Assisting with the waste management process, classifying waste streams, monitoring, and coordinating collections • Ensuring routine PPE/RPE and breathable air checks are completed • Ensuring incidents and accidents are recorded, investigated and monitored to ensure resulting actions are completed • Internal auditing of our Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental system The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for science, absolute attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in order to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communications skills are also required, as the successful candidate will be required to communicate across all levels of the business. The desire to assist the company in meeting regulatory requirements is a given, with understanding of regulatory and other applicable text and its practical application in the workplace a significant part of the role. In addition, some Regulatory, Chemical or Health & Safety experience or qualification would be an advantage, as would the ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and experience of SDS management systems, however full training will be provided.
