Packing & Assembly Operative

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will play an important role in upholding our values of quality, reliability, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Verify production orders against packaging sheet information
* Pick and prepare product labels and packaging materials
* Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
* Assemble and pack orders, ensuring correct codes, batches, and quantities
* Inspect products and packaging for leaks, defects, or mislabeling
* Ensure packaging materials and containers meet quality standards
* Report any issues or inconsistencies during the packing process
* Return unused packaging materials to inventory correctly
* Lift and move finished goods to designated storage locations
* Clean and maintain work areas and machinery
* Drive forklift to move materials and storing goods
* Support other operational areas as needed
Skills and Experience
* Proficient in Spanish and English (reading and speaking) preferred
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to support different areas of operations when required
* Previous experience in packing, assembly, or manufacturing environments is preferred
Physical Demands:
* Must be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks consistently
* Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, gripping, pushing, pulling, sitting, and standing long periods of time
* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated and work safely at all times
* Maintain specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
* Primarily work indoors in a climate-controlled environment, with possible variances due to work location (exposure to varying temperatures, noise, heat, and dust levels)
