Basic Floor Repairing

The floor material that has visible defects or it is damaged should not be installed. The materials usually have a warranty from the manufacturer which insures your floor repair or replace the broken materials with new ones. Your materials will be changed or repaired only if they have not been installed and are provided with the installation instructions. To take care of your floor is quite effortless (mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.).

Unfortunately, in some cases there may be caused destructions or damages of the floor due to some reasons. Floor repair is a consequence of careless handling. If minor surface damages (like scratches) appear, in order to do the floor repair you should buy a touch up stick. Such a stick can be achieved from the manufacturer. After finishing the floor repair, the damaged area should become invisible and look just like the rest of the areas. Surface damages are caused generally due to large particles of dust, small rocks or even careless movement of the furniture.

Other minor damages are caused by spots (because of the permanent colors). In this case, it is very simple to do your floor repair: just use some nail polish remover and the oil, or the paint will be easily removed. For cleaning spilt drinks' marks or blood use some warm water. If you are facing with candle wax or remains of chewing gum, you must do some serious scraping (but careful not to make scratches). It is possible that by accident, more severe structural or surface damages to intervene. In this case you shouldn't do the floor repair by yourself: a trained professional's help should be called. In some cases a replacement of the plank could be needed. If the repairing works well, in a few hours you won't even notice that you had a floor repair and the aspect of your rooms will be just beautiful.
