Galvanic - is the result of localize corrosion between two different types of metals; this corrosion is produced by the chemical effects that interact between the two metals, because of the different electromotive force potentials.

Uniform - the corrosive process has taken a larger surface area of the metal and the metal corrosion protection materials cannot stop the corrosion process. Other known types of corrosion are intergranular, exfoliation and stress corrosion. All this corrosion types tend to loosen the electrical metal conductibility, cracking and increased residual tensile stresses.
